BLOCK GRANT – Fund for NGOs to support social inclusion in Slovakia

Block grant to support social inclusion is one of the three grants that the countries of European Economic Area use to support non-profit NGOs in Slovakia. SOCIA Foundation is the mediator of these block grants: making the calls, assessing the applications, taking responsibility for the financial flow, supervising the accomplishment of goals and the budget with the recipients of help.

LION Charity Fund – AID FOR FAMILIES programme

The fund is meant to improve the quality of life in families that take care of physically, mentally or empirically disadvantaged or long-term ill children and young people who are not more than 25 years old. We support the purchase of compensation and rehabilitation aids, surgeries or other necessary medical operations or aids.

LION Charity Fund – ING CHANCES FOR CHILDREN PROGRAMME

The aim of this programme is to improve the quality of integration at schools. It is meant for standard elementary schools and kindergartens and counselling organisations (ŠPP, DIC) that integrate disabled students, students with learning disabilities and behaviour problems (according to the actual call).

the primary goal of the contest is to encourage NGOs to improve the quality of services they provide. SOCIA foundation has been announcing the contest since 2005 in two-year intervals. The winners can gain the sum o 300 000 – 500 000 Sk.
