BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOCIA FOUNDATION
Pavol Demeš – Chairman
German Marshall Fund of the United States, director
I have been at the foundation of SOCIA in 2002 together with the important people of our non-profit sector, Helena Woleková and Vlado Matej, that I share the same interest with. I too am interested in development of free civic initiatives and solving the problems of socially dependent and marginalized people. Since the start of this foundation I have been at the head of the Board of Directors that consists of truly selfless and talented people. I am happy that thanks to all the Professional work SOCIA today is a respectable and renowned brand mark.
Soňa Holúbková
Advisory Board for Social Work, Branch Office Director
To me SOCIA is a symbol of courage and effort in supporting new and meaningful projects in the area of social services. It is very important that we find the resources outside the governmental provision – otherwise many new social services would not be implemented at all.
Robert Sunderman
ING Bank, Country Manager Slovakia
Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of how ING does its business on a global basis, and also in Slovakia. Therefore I am very pleased and honoured to be a member of the Board of Directors of Socia. ING and Socia have a long history of cooperation via the Charity Lion Fund and ING Chances for Children. Every year these programs support many families with disabled and handicapped children and also support the education and integration of handicapped children into the basic Slovak school system.
Andrej Jankuliak
ANJA, Ltd., administrator
Why am I part of the Board of Directors of SOCIA Foundation?
Because I was convinced by projects that are implemented by people whom I trust.

SOCIA is the natural result of a long-standing friendship of people, who has trusted each other from the first day (in 1993). Their commitment and common aim were and are unchanged: to serve the Slovak society from a mentality of solidarity. It is a privilige to have been a part of it from the beginning.
